Women in Neuroscience fights the gender gap in science and creates economic security for women by encouraging students from historically excluded communities to pursue educational achievement and leadership careers in the neuroscience and neurology fields. These undergraduate students, or WiNterns, are immersed in the fields of neuroscience and neurology, most for the first time, to explore a field dominated by men. Through internships, mentorship, and scholarships, WiN is building a pipeline of highly qualified, dedicated professionals in these fields and offers them a lifetime community of support.
